FOUNDING PARTNER AND CONSULTANT

Mrs. Gabriela Medina Wickert has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry.

Since 2017, when LMW Consult was founded, she was involved on numerous projects, including:

(1) The assessment of value proposition and strategic repositioning of a non-profit association in the financial services segment. Scope of the work involved aspects such as assessment and redefinition of service portfolio, optimal organizational structure, budget and funding resources, market intelligence & research area, as well as educational programs;

(2) Business development services to an international trade agency. Scope of work focused on promoting investments in Brazil among international institutional investors, general partners and corporate ventures;

(3) Structuring of a philanthropic institute focused on the education segment.                                                    

Prior to LMW Consult, Mrs. Medina spent approximately 10 years in business development and investor relation functions with leading Brazilian asset management firms Vinci Partners and Pátria Investimentos (affiliated to The Blackstone Group). She was involved on originating, structuring and marketing of private markets funds that totaled over US$4 billion, raised with international and local institutional investors.

Previously, Mrs. Medina worked in the investment banking teams of Santander and Dresdner Bank as well as on the wealth management division of UBS.

Mrs. Medina has a bachelor degree in Economics from IBMEC, a post-graduation course on financial decision making from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Florida International University.
